Independence: Enugu Police Commissioner Says Celebration Will be Hitch-free

The commissioner of Police in Enugu State, Danmallam Mohammed, has assured residents in the state about his command’s commitment to ensure a smooth and hitchfree independence day celebration.

Speaking at the police headquarters in the state, the commissioner wished members of the public a successful celebration, saying “all hands are on deck as we are collaborating with other sister security agencies and relevant stakeholders for a smooth celebration in the state”.

 

 

The commissioner advised residents to continue to be law-abiding and willing to partner the police by volunteering useful and timely information to the nearest police station with regard to any threat to peace and security in their neighbourhood.
