Breaking News: Enugu Polls: Electoral Commission Extends Voting Till 5pm

The Enugu State Independent Electoral Commission (ENSIEC) has extended voting time in the council polls holding today by one hour.

Announcing the extension, the commission’s chairman, Mr. Mike Ajogwu, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, said the decision was informed by the need to give eligible voters who had yet to cast their ballots an opportunity to do so.

The extension means polls now close at 5.00pm.

Earlier, the Enugu State governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, voted at his Amube Ohom Ward II, Orba, in Udenu Local Government Area
