Anambra Chief Judge Frees 13 Onitsha Prison Inmates

The chief judge of Anambra State, Justice Peter Umeadi, early this week freed 13 awaiting trial inmates in Onitsha Prison during a visit to the facility. A civic advocacy group, Enugu for All, has denounced reports on social media accusing Neighbourhood Watch Associations in Enugu State of indulging in illegal actions and taking over the duties of the police.
