Enugu records six COVID-19 deaths, 56 fresh cases

Enugu State Ministry of Health has confirmed 56 fresh cases of COVID-19 infection in the state, bringing the total to 258 cases. Commissioner for Health, Dr. Obi Emmanuel Ikechukwu, in a statement, said that the cases were confirmed in the new test laboratory in the state. He said that out of the total cases of 258, 202 cases are currently on treatment while 50 have been discharged and six deaths recorded. COVID-19: NCDC announces 452 fresh cases, total number 21,371

Nigeria has announced 452 fresh cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of the cases in the country to 21,371. As part of an effort put in place to cushioning the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on residents of Enugu State, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi has granted tax relief and incentives to taxpayers in the state.
